Vote on Higher Education Bond C in General Election
When you vote in the General Election, there will be a question on the ballot that will directly impact CNM and higher education institutions across the state. Please vote on “Higher Education Bond Question C.” There would be no tax increase associated with the passage of this bond. If Higher Education Bond C passes, it would provide $119.4 million for much-needed facility improvements at colleges and universities across the state, including $10.5 million for CNM. Read more.
New Presidential Scholarship Rewards Dual Credit Students
For the first time at CNM, a talented CNM student will be awarded a full-ride scholarship, thanks to the new Chester French and Diana Stewart Presidential Scholarship. The newly-created scholarship was launched with a $50,000 gift from French Mortuary, in honor of Chester French Stewart and his wife, Diana Stewart, and will be awarded this year to student Marissa Trujillo. Poet Laureate Launches CNM Speaks – The Spoken Word Series
Live poetry reading comes to the Main Campus Library on Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. with "CNM Speaks: The Sound of Our Community," when two prominent Duke City poets, including Albuquerque's first Poet Laureate, perform. The event includes an open mic session. Read more.
